Where trains from Waterloo go
South Western Railway runs from Waterloo to south west London, Surrey, Hampshire and beyond, including Guildford, Woking, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth and Exeter. It is also close to the London Eye, the Southbank Centre and the Old Vic.
Cab or Tube?
The Northern line runs from Edgware towards Waterloo, sometimes with a change. If you are travelling light, that is usually cheaper. A minicab is the easier choice when you are carrying luggage for a holiday, when trains are not running, or when a group can share one fixed fare.
