Trains from Euston
Euston serves Avanti West Coast trains to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and North Wales, and London Northwestern trains to places such as Milton Keynes and Northampton. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage for a long trip north, a car to the door is often worth it.
Cab or Northern line?
To be fair, the Northern line runs from Edgware to Euston without a change on many trains. If you are travelling light and not in a hurry, it is a sensible choice. A cab makes more sense with heavy luggage, children, mobility needs, very early trains, or when several people can share the cost.
